Motion carried.Telecommunication Bids for the Platte Co Detention Facility were opened and read at 10:00a.m.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to Alvine& Assoc for review and to report back at the next meeting.Motion carried.

Michael Stegman appeared before the Co Bd to requesting the appointment of a Temporary Bd to Road Improvement District #1 in Viking View Subdivision. Moved and seconded to appoint Michael D Stegman,Daniel H Lueders and Samuel W Guistra as the Temporary Bd for Road Improvement Dist #1.Motion carried.K.C.Belitz and David Bell,

Chamber of Commerce discussed economic development with the Co Bd and answered questions the Bd might have.

Moved and seconded to contribute $10000.00 to the economic development to be taken out of the Inheritance Tax Fund. Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Chairman to sign the amended agreement with Maximus that allows the county to recover indirect costs from certain federally mandated programs. Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Bldg Grds Comm to check into hiring outside legal counsel who has knowledge of hazardous material. Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Tooley and Chairman Stuthman.Absent:Supervisor Franzen.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. Moved and seconded to set the maximum levy limits for the following:townships .078909,fire districts .046000,library .013091 and ag society .012000.Motion carried.The following resolution was presented:RESOLUTION NO. 02-32 WHEREAS,Nebraska State Statute

77-3443(3)requires all political subdivisions subject to county levy authority to submit a preliminary request for levy allocation to the county board;and WHEREAS,the townships,fire districts and agricultural society have sent resolutions to the Platte County Clerk for a preliminary tax request for fiscal year 2002-2003:NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,the Platte County Board of Supervisors have limited the levy for fiscal year 2002-2003 as follows:
