Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable Arnold Stuthman,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Pfeifer,

Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Stuthman.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo were presented.Moved and seconded approve the proposal presented by Allan Vyhnalek and Lisa Kaslon of the Ext Office on the After School Program Grant they presented to the Co Bd.Motion carried.The Ext Office requested the Co Bd accept Susan Littlefield’s letter of resignation and recommend the appt of Linda DeTurk to the one year term and the appt of Mike Korth and Jan Went to the three year terms. Moved and seconded approve the appt of Linda DeTurk to the one year term and the appt of Mike Korth and Jan Went to the three year terms on the Platte Co Ext Bd.

NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the County Board of Platte County,Nebraska shall and does hereby give its consent to the Platte County Treasurer to invest in United States government bonds, bonds and debentures issued either singly or collectively by any of the twelve federal land banks,under the supervision of the Farm Credit Administration,United States Treasury Notes,from the date of purchase,or in certificates of deposit.The interest received from investments shall be credited t the County Jail Bond fund of Platte County Fiscal Year 2002-2003.
