Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the monthly fee reports.Motion carried.Moved and seconded file the Veterans Aid Exp report for October 2002.Motion carried.Moved and seconded file the Co Treas list of distress warrants issued by the Co Treas and recd by the Co Sher.Motion carried.Moved and seconded file Col Public Library report for Oct 2002.Motion carried.Moved and seconded file the Co Treas Receipts representing credit to the respective funds: Lakeview Comm Schls,security,gen fd,$210.00-Platte Co,budget share,dist probation fd,

$9510.91.Motion carried.The following resolution was presented:RESOLUTION NO. 02-45 WHEREAS, Platte County is a member of the East Central Health Dept that consists of Platte,Colfax,Boone and Nance counties of the State of Nebraska; and WHEREAS,the East Central Health District has an active board that makes decisions and recommendations regarding the operations and activities of the department; and WHEREAS, said board does recommend the purchase of a building to expand the East Central Health District and asks for each county that is a member of the district to approve of said purchase. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Platte County does hereby approve of the board’s recommendations to pursue the purchase of a building for the East Central Health District. Jim Cumming and Tom Tremel presented a pre-preliminary plat of Jim Coming Subdivision to the Co Bd.The Elect Comm discussed the cost of the special election for Road Improvement Dist #1 with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded authorize the Ext Agent to advertise for bids on a used mini van to be opened on 12-17-02 at 10:00a.m. per their request. Motion carried.

Committee Reports: Moved and seconded approve change order number CC-014 in the amt of $5447.00 for the Hwy Dept. Motion carried. Public Comments: The Co Treas is requesting a resolution regarding the jail bond fund. She needs some directive to invest the total balance of the jail bond acct. Curtis Neeley of Topeka, Kansas informed the Co Bd that he found the Platte County Courthouse to be a positive atmosphere compared to other area counties. Moved and seconded the following claims be approved as presented and that the Co Clk be ordered to issue warrant of the same on the respective funds. Motion carried.
