Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable Arnold Stuthman,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Pfeifer,

Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Stuthman.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. Rebecca Rayman,East Central Hlth Dept discussed the purchase of a new bldg with the Co Bd and presented the quarterly report. Moved and seconded Platte County send a letter of support to the East Central Hlth Dept for the 330E grant .Motion carried. Richard Snyder,Snyder Eng explained the report from Dr Ralph Keller. Moved and seconded to accept the standards set by Dr Ralph Keller on the clean up goals for lead contamination of surfaces in the Platte Co Courthouse. Motion carried.Moved and seconded allow the state dept of hlth and human services test for lead paint in the courthouse at no cost to the county. Motion carried .Clark Grant is requesting the Co Bd to release the easement against the Bakenhus property which was improperly indexed. The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 02-44 WHEREAS,an easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a road structure was granted by Edmund H Loseke to Platte County Supervisors on July 22, 1976 and recorded with the Register of Deeds of Platte County on July 23, 1976 in Book Misc 64,page 159,upon the following-described real estate: The Northeast Quarter (NE1/4) of Section One (1), Township Eighteen (18) North, Range One (1) East of the 6th P.M.,Platte County,Nebraska and WHEREAS, said Easement erroneously described said real estate and it was never intended to grant an easement on said real estate .NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Platte County Board of Supervisors that said Board does hereby authorize the release and discharge of said Easement and does consent that this Release of Easement be placed on record to show that Platte County Supervisors claims no interest in said real estate. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Supervisor Stuthman of said Board is hereby authorized to execute a Release of Easement to formalize this action. Moved and seconded to refer the sprinkler system bids at the detention center to the Co Sher and architect to review and to report back with their recommendation. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the bid from Mueller Sprinkler in the amt of $13000.00 for the new sprinkler system at the detention center.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Co Sher to advertise for food service bids to be opened on 12-17-02 at 9:30a.m.Motion carried. The following resolution was presented. IN THE COUNTY OF PLATTE IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA RESOLUTION NO. 02-43 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION AND PERFORMANCE OF A LEASE-PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH NACO LEASING CORPORATION FOR ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Platte,in the State of Nebraska,that this Board hereby approves and authorizes the acquisition of two (2) new 2003 Chevrolet Impalas and one (1) 2003 Dodge Caravan, by the County of Platte through a Lease-Purchase Agreement with NACO Leasing Corporation. The Lease-Purchase Agreement shall include the following terms,with such changes as are deemed reasonable or necessary by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. 1.Principal Amount: $55764.99- 2. Interest Rate: 2.750%- 3. Payment Amount: $9746.54- 4. Term: November 7, 2002 through November 7, 2005- 5. Payment Frequency: Semiannually. Settlement and closing of the Lease-Purchase Agreement shall be on or about November 7, 2002. NACO Leasing Corporation shall send payment to the equipment vendor or owner for acquisition of the property on the date on which NACO Leasing Corporation receives the signed Lease-Purchase Agreement and accompanying documents from the County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and the County Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the Lease-Purchase Agreement and related certificates and documents.
