Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,

Freidrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer. The Co Sher discussed the purchase of a vehicle for the maint employee, hiring of a new deputy and jail issues with the Co Bd. Moved and seconded authorize the Co Sher have Marleys Elect install coax cable and cable plates at the new jail site in the amt of $2850.00 to come out of the capital purchase acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Co Sher to hire a new deputy. Motion carried.

Richard Snyder,Snyder Eng explained the proposed indoor air quality survey for The Finn Group to the Co Bd. Moved and seconded go ahead and hire Snyder Eng to have indoor and outdoor air quality tests done in the Courthouse. Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the minutes of 2-18-03. Motion carried. The cost of indigent burials was discussed by the Co Bd. The Co Atty discussed the hiring of a new deputy and salary increases for other deputies with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded authorize the Co Atty to increase the salaries of the Dep Co Atty’s to $38000.00 effective 3-17-03.Motion carried.A hearing was held at 10:00 a.m. to review the performance of the cable permit holder, Sky-Scan Cable Inc.Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 10:30a.m.Motion carried. Bids for a ¾ ton pickup and panel wagon for the Hwy Dept were opened and read.Moved and seconded to refer the bid to the Hwy Supt to review and report back with his recommendations. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the bid from Ernst Auto Center in the amt of $16844.00 for a ¾ ton pickup. Motion carried.Moved and seconded accept the bid from Ernst Auto Center for a panel wagon in the amt of $30110.00 without trade. Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Chairman to sign the permanent easement between Platte County and Scott G Weidner.Motion carried.

Moved and seconded authorize the Chairman to sign the utility appl for Brian Cuming and Richard Nauenburg.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Hwy Supt to advertise for asphalt bids to be opened on 4-1-03 at 9:30a.m.

utilized by the County Attorney’s Office for diversion of minor traffic offenses continue as allowed by Neb.Rev.Stat.
