Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Toolay and Chairman Pfeifer. Absent: Supervisor Franzen. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded approve the mtr vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas.Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve tax corrections #13150 thru #13153 for real estate and personal property as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.A hearing was held at 9:05a.m. on the permissive exemption for The Boys & Girls Home of Nebraska, Inc. Moved and seconded to approve the archeological survey proposal of Carl Hugh Jones for CDBG Project #02-ED-023(Shell Valley Companies,Inc.). Motion carried. The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 03-25 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLATTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS,COLUMBUS,NEBRASKA WHEREAS,it is in the best interest of Platte county to enter into an Interlocal Agreement pursuant to Nebraska Revised Statutes, with the City of Columbus,Nebraska,for specific and limited purpose of a selective enforcement operation; and WHEREAS, the County has found that it is in the interest of the public health and welfare to enforce and insure compliance with the law in the County of Platte; and WHEREAS, The County of Platte and City of Columbus can perform such a selective enforcement operation more efficiently and with better performance if done jointly and in cooperation with each other; and WHEREAS, grant funds are available for such a selective enforcement operation. NOW,THEREFORE,LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Platte County Board of Supervisors authorizes the Chairperson of said board to enter into and sign such Interlocal Agreement for the specific purpose identified herein. Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Hwy Supt to advertise as a special purchase for a used pneumatic roller. Motion carried.Moved and seconded go into executive session at 12:25 p.m. for personnel issues and potential lawsuit. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to conclude the executive session at 12:35 p.m. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to increase the General Assist Adm hourly salary rate to $10.50 effective 6-1-03 per request from the General Assist Adm. He also stopped in Hamilton County at the Assessor’s Office and asked questions on the GIS Program. Supervisor Tooley will be attending the Central Nebr Comm Serv meeting in Loup City.
