The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 03-25 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLATTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS,COLUMBUS,NEBRASKA WHEREAS,it is in the best interest of Platte county to enter into an Interlocal Agreement pursuant to Nebraska Revised Statutes, with the City of Columbus,Nebraska,for specific and limited purpose of a selective enforcement operation; and WHEREAS, the County has found that it is in the interest of the public health and welfare to enforce and insure compliance with the law in the County of Platte; and WHEREAS, The County of Platte and City of Columbus can perform such a selective enforcement operation more efficiently and with better performance if done jointly and in cooperation with each other; and WHEREAS, grant funds are available for such a selective enforcement operation. NOW,THEREFORE,LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Platte County Board of Supervisors authorizes the Chairperson of said board to enter into and sign such Interlocal Agreement for the specific purpose identified herein. Motion carried.Moved and seconded go into executive session at 12:25 p.m. for personnel issues and potential lawsuit.
