Moved and seconded approve the official bond on James Krings for Granville Township.Motion carried.The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 03-53 WHEREAS, The County of Platte, a governmental subdivision of the State of Nebraska, holds title to a segment of road right-of-way, described as follows: A sixty six foot (66’) strip of land located in the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4 ) of Section 18, and Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/4 ) of Section 19, Township 16 North, Range 2 West of the 6th P.M., Platte County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the 1/4  corner common to said Section 18 and 19; thence Easterly on said section line a distance of 2,020 feet more or less; thence Northeasterly on a line parallel with the U.P.R.R. a distance of 340 feet more or less to a point of intersection with Road No. 474 and Road No. 350, containing 3.6 acres more or less. WHEREAS, It is the intent of this County Board to abandon and vacate said segment of road; and WHEREAS, All provisions of Neb Rev Stats Section 39-1722 through Section 39-1726 have been satisfied; not therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that said segment of road as described be vacated by Platte County and the ownership of said segment of road revert back to the private ownership of the property owners of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of Section 19 and the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4 ) of Section 18, Township 16 North, Range 2 West of the 6th P.M., Platte County, Nebraska. Correspondence was rec’d from the St Nebr Dept of Roads asking that we have the Co Surveyor complete the re-monumentation phase within 90 days as the construction work has been completed on the following three projects: Project RK-91-5(1014) N-45 to US-81, C.N. 31647, Project PEP-91-5(1015) Albion to N-45,C.N. 31660 and Project PEP-45-3(1005) Newman Grove North and South, C.N. 31661. Principal Amt: $38716.00-2. Interest Rate: 2.05%-3. Payment Amt: $13438.03-4. Term: November 20,2003 through November 20,2006-5. Payment Frequency: Annually Settlement and closing the Lease-Purchase Agreement shall be on or about November 20,2003 NACO Leasing Corporation shall send payment to the equipment vendor or owner for acquisition of the property on the date on which NACO Leasing Corporation receives the signed Lease-Purchase Agreement and accompanying documents from the County.
