Pursuant to adjournment the Platte co Bd Equalization met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,

Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. Moved and seconded approve the mtr vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas.Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the 2003 personal and real estate tax value changes as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the levy change for Butler Township from .038988 to .099594.Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the levy change for School District No. 1 General Fund from .950840 to .946578 and Special Building Fund from .100847 to .100395.Motion carried.The Chairman declared the meeting adjourned to 11-18-03 at 9:00 a.m. Attest:Diane C Pinger,Clk of the Co Bd,Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman.

Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:10a.m. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer,

Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen,

Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer. The Public Defender discussed outside private practice with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded allow the Platte Co Public Defender to do outside private practice for Madison County for a three (3) month trial contract and to report back to the Platte Co Bd.Motion carried. Proposals for engineering/ architectural services for a clinic addition for East-Central Dist Hlth Dept were presented. Rebecca Rayman ,Director and Jerry Hilton, Facility Manager were present if the Bd had any questions. Moved and seconded to allow the East-Central Dist Hlth Dept to move ahead on the engineer contract to CLH for $35000.00. Motion carried.The Co Sher discussed the request from Western Wireless for permission to place a portable antenna on the county tower site. Moved and seconded authorize the co Sher to work with Western Wireless to place a portable antenna on the county tower site. Motion carried. Moved and seconded to accept the proposal from Electronic Contracting Co to relocate one card reader to the walk thru gate and install a magnetic lock in the amt of $2604.00 at the detention facility to be taken out of Bldg Grds Misc. Motion carried. Moved and seconded to refer the GIS bids to the Co Assessor to review and to report back in two weeks. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 10-7-03.Motion carried. Ed Zelasny from the American Legion informed the Co Bd that Co Govt Day will be held on Nov 13,2003 starting at 9:00a.m. Committee Reports: Moved and seconded after the time period expires from the letter by the Co Atty to move forward and award the sprinkler bid to Mueller Sprinklers .Motion carried.Moved and seconded to move forward in replacing the heat pump unit in the Co Clerk’s Office for $4435.00 and to negotiate with Merit Mechanical on getting rid of the larger unit.
