Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,

Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. The awarding of bids for the East 29th Avenue Paving Project was discussed by the Co Bd. Moved and seconded to accept the bid from Gehring Construction & Ready Mix for the East 29th Avenue Paving Project in the amt of $372716.72 plus the additional contingency cost of $3566.60. Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the minutes of 8-5-03 and 8-19-03.Motion carried. The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 03-43 WHEREAS, the Platte Co Bd Supervisors deem it within the public interest to require vacation of a public road located within the County described as follows: That portion of Road No. 38 also known as the Old Territorial road located on the line common to Sections 18 and 19,T16N,R2W of the 6th P.M.,Platte County,Nebraska and that portion of said Road No. 38 that parallels the UPRR in the SW 1/4  of Section 19,T16N,

R2W of the 6th P.M.,Platte County,Nebraska containing 1.8 acres more or less; and NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hwy Supt proceed with the study of said portion of public road as per Neb.Rev.Stat., Section 39-1722. /s/Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman Platte Co Bd Supervisors /s/Diane C Pinger, Co Clk.
