Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session beginning at 9:00 in the
morning. Honorable John Woerth, Vice Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call
and the following members present: Supervisors
Martens,Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Franzen,Tooley and Vice Chairman John Woerth.
Absent: Chairman Pfeifer.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for
notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded to approve the
preliminary plat of Becton-Dickson West Subdivision as presented by Greg Lower
of Gilmore & Associates. Motion carried. Dave Gilsdorf, Weed Supt discussed
the purchase of a four wheeler to spray purple loosestrife along the river with
the Co Bd.Moved and seconded authorize the Weed Supt to purchase a four wheeler
and a sprayer for $5,235.00. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the
minutes of 7-20-04,7-21-04 and 7-22-04.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Hwy Supt to sign the interlocal
agreement between the Airport Authority and Platte
County. Motion carried.Moved and
seconded authorize the Vice Chairman to sign the utility appl for Cornhusker

RC&D meeting minutes for 6-15-04.Motion carried.The following resolution
was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 04-29 WHEREAS, the Platte Co Treas received by
wire deposit the sum of $24884.75 from the St of Nebr for homeland security;
and WHEREAS, the Platte Co Treas placed the funds in the Region 10 Civil
Defense Fund instead of the General Fund. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the
Platte Co Bd of Supervisors, hereby direct the Co Treas to transfer the sum of
$24884.75 from the Reg 10 Civil Defense Fund to the General Fund for Homeland

Moved and seconded to adopt Res No. 04-29 transferring homeland security monies

carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Martens attended the East-Central Dist
Hlth Dept board meeting which they discussed the construction of the new bldg.
Supervisor Franzen attended the Juvenile Detention meeting in Madison with
everything working well. Supervisor Woerth stated a decision needs to be made
on the postage issue. He also remarked the 4th floor shelving is
complete, we just need to decide who gets which room. Moved and seconded that
the following claims be approved as presented and that the Co Clk be ordered to
