Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisor Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. A public hearing was held at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of considering the issuance of an Off Sale Only License and Bottle Club License to T&K Pitstop L.L.C. dba T&K Pitstop Bar& Grill. Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 9:36a.m.Motion carried.The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 04-44 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHIEF ELECTED OFFICIAL TO SIGN AN APPLICATION FOR CDBG FUNDS Whereas, Platte County, Nebraska, is an eligible unit of a general local government authorized to file an application under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as Amended for Small Cities Community development Block Grant Program, and, Whereas, Platte County, Nebraska, has obtained its citizens’ comments on community development and housing needs; and has conducted public hearings(s) upon the proposed application and received favorable public comment respecting the application which Platte County is requesting $355,000 of community development Block Grant (CDBG) funds of which $350,000 will be used for the construction of a road between 12th Ave. related infrastructure and land acquisition, for the location of a new building for B-D Medical, the leader in hypodermic needles and syringes, infusion therapy devices, insulin injection systems, and prefillable drug delivery systems for pharmaceutical companies. $5,000 will be used for project administration. B-D’s sterilization process will be located in the new building. Total project costs are estimated to be $705,700 with Platte County providing the balance of the funding. This project will be located at Lot 1 excluding the North 27 feet, all of lots 2 and 3, and the north 62 feet of Lot 4 in Block 3 and the south 135 feet of Lot 1, and all of Lots 2 and 3 of Block 4 of the Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska. All the CDBG funds will be used for activities that will meet the CDBG national objective of benefiting low-to-moderate income persons. Moved and seconded Craig Franzen and Ray Sueper be appointed  to a three year term on the Platte Co Ext Bd.Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the salary increase for the Platte Co Youth Coordinator for $23700.00 to be effective 12-1-04 as requested by the Ext Educator. Motion carried. Larry Osten, American Legion discussed Co Government Day with the Co Bd. Moved and seconded Co Government Day be held on 1-20-05 with a storm date of 1-27-05.Motion carried. Supervisor Friedrichsen attended the board meeting at the Juvenile Detention Center in Madison, everything is going well.
