Trails discussed the follow up with the Co Bd and the Hwy Supt. Barb Grachek, Director
of the Convention & Visitor Bureau discussed implementing a two-percent
visitor improvement fund. Moved and seconded a hearing be set for 1-18-05 at 11:15a.m. to implement a 2%
lodging tax increase. Motion carried. Judge Steinke discussed the Law Library
with the Co Bd. Moved and seconded authorize Dist Judge Steinke to pursue a
three year contract with Westlow and private attorneys for a monthly cost of
$848.00. Motion carried. Don Mroczek, Platinum Serv Inc discussed Long-Term
Care Serv with the Co Bd. A discussion was held regarding the renewal of Public
Amusement Licenses for the following: Louise Ganskow dba US 30 Speedway, Donald
Meays dba East 30 Bar, Jeremy Krings dba Twister, Platte Co Ag Society, Col
Hockey& Skate Center Inc, and T&K Pitstop L.L.C. dba T&K Pitstop
Bar and Grill. Moved and seconded that the public amusement licenses be renewed
for the year 2005 for the following: Louise Ganskow dba US 30 Speedway, Donald
Meays dba East 30 Bar, Jeremy Krings dba Twister, Platte Co Ag Society, Col

and Grill. Motion carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen attended
a meeting at the Juvenile Detention Facility in Madison.
Supervisor Woerth discussed the individual post office box unit for the
Courthouse. Mail will be delivered between 8:30a.m.
and 9:30a.m.
Each office will have to go to this unit to retrieve their mail. We can
terminate this at anytime. Moved and seconded that the following claims be
approved as presented and that the Co Clk be ordered to issue warrants of the
