The Lower Elkhorn NRD did a presentation on the Leigh Dam site for the Co Bd and answered any questions they had. Supervisor Martens attended a meeting on 2-26-04 at the East Central Dist Hlth Dept. They discussed the Clean Air Hlth Ace. He also stated Governor Johanns will be at the East Central Dist Hlth Dept on 3-16-04 at 2:00p.m. Supervisor Martens will also be attending a Reg IV special meeting on 3-5-04. Supervisor Tooley attended the NE Nebr Solid Waste Coalition meeting in Madison. Supervisor Friedrichsen attended a juvenile meeting in Madison and remarked they are full. Supervisor Franzen attended a civil defense meeting, they put in a grant appl for a E-911 command center. Supervisor Pfeifer reminded the Co Bd about a hearing on the Leigh Dam issue on 3-2-04 at 7:00p.m. in Norfolk, he will not be able to attend. Supervisor Woerth stated there will be a City/County Comm meeting on 3-25-04 at 1:00p.m. to discuss issues like a regional library and a regional animal shelter.
