The Lower Elkhorn NRD did a presentation on the Leigh Dam site for the Co Bd and answered any questions they had. The Co Bd would like to thank the individuals for showing up for the presentation whatever their position is. Supervisor Martens attended a meeting on 2-26-04 at the East Central Dist Hlth Dept. They discussed the Clean Air Hlth Ace. He also stated Governor Johanns will be at the East Central Dist Hlth Dept on 3-16-04 at 2:00p.m. Supervisor Martens will also be attending a Reg IV special meeting on 3-5-04. Supervisor Tooley attended the NE Nebr Solid Waste Coalition meeting in Madison. Supervisor Friedrichsen attended a juvenile meeting in Madison and remarked they are full. Supervisor Franzen attended a civil defense meeting, they put in a  grant appl for a E-911 command center. Supervisor Pfeifer reminded the Co Bd about a hearing on the Leigh Dam issue on 3-2-04 at 7:00p.m. in Norfolk, he will not be able to attend. Supervisor Woerth stated there will be a City/County Comm meeting on 3-25-04 at 1:00p.m. to discuss issues like a regional library and a regional animal shelter.
