Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session beginning at 9:00 in the
morning. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer,Chairman,Diane C. Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call
and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,
Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer. The Aff Publ
from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public hearing were presented.
Steve Stevens and Ken Bunker, Becton Dickinson presented the Development
Agreement on Becton Dickinson West Subdivision. The following resolution was
presented: RESOLUTION NO. 04-35 WHEREAS; Becton Dickinson and Company, a New
Jersey corporation, the owner of certain real estate in Platte County,Nebraska,
has caused such real estate to be replatted and laid out into lots and streets
under the name of Becton-Dickinson West Subdivision, Platte County, Nebraska,
designating explicitly the land so laid out and particularly describing the
lots and streets belonging to such Subdivision; and WHEREAS; such Subdivision,
lying in the Platte County and within the subdivision jurisdiction of the City
of Columbus, has been approved by the City Council of the City of Columbus,
Nebraska; and WHEREAS; the owner, the City of Columbus and Platte County desire
to enter into a Development Agreement to provide for the design, acquisition,
construction, timing and funding of the public improvements in conjunction with
said Subdivision; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Development
Agreement, attached hereto, among the City of Columbus, Platte County and
Becton Dickinson and Company is hereby approved. Adopted this 2nd

audit proposal from Scow Rief Kruse and Schumacher for fiscal years ending June
30-2005, 2006 and 2007 not to exceed the following figures: General Financial
Audit for $15,500.00 and Out-of-Pocket Expenses for $200.00.Motion

Committee Reports: Supervisor Martens attended a meeting at the East-Central
Dist Hlth Dept and discussed the new addition and the recent fire damage.
Supervisor Franzen stated he will be leaving the meeting early on 11-16-04 to attend a homeland
security meeting in Kearney.
Supervisor Friedrichsen attended the Juvenile Detention meeting in Madison,
everything is running well and they are full. Supervisor Woerth stated since he
is on the Reg IV Northstar Board, they are talking about forming a foundation
and he wanted to know how the rest of the Board felt. Moved and seconded that
the following claims be approved as presented and that the Co Clk be ordered to
