The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public notice were presented.Moved and seconded approve tax corrections #13201 for real estate and personal property as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the revised value for Real Life of Columbus from $1,660,200.00 to $1,555,000.00. Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:10a.m. Honorable Ronald Pfeifer, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen, Lloyd,Woerth,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Pfeifer.Moved and seconded to approve the Co Atty request to have Sandra Allen attend an out-of-state conference in Anaheim California from 10-31-04 to 11-5-04.Motion carried. Northstar Services Inc discussed the lease purchase agreement with the Co Bd.The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 04-40 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXECUTION AND PERFORMANCE OF A LEASE-PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH REGION IV LEASING CORPORATION FOR A ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Platte, in the State of Nebraska (the “Board”), that the Board hereby approves and authorizes the acquisition of land, buildings, improvements and equipment by the County of Platte through a Lease-Purchase Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Region IV Leasing Corporation (the “Corporation”). The Agreement is for an aggregate principal amount of $385,000.00 upon commercially reasonable terms and conditions. Settlement and closing of the Agreement shall be on or about October 21, 2004. The Corporation shall send payment to the equipment vendor owner for acquisition of the property on the date on which the corporation receives the signed Agreement and accompanying documents from the County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chair or Vice Chair of the Board and the County Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign the Agreement and all related certificates and documents. Scow,Rief,Kruse & Schumacher presented the final audit to the Co Bd. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen has a meeting in Madison Friday at the Juvenile Detention Center. Supervisor Tooley and the Personnel Comm met and stated each deductible reimbursement will need to be reviewed. Supervisor Franzen reported Lt. Governor Dave Heineman is requesting a board member to attend the emergency management meeting in Kearney on 11-16-04 which he will attend. Supervisor Martens reported on the fire at the East-Central Dist Hlth Dept at which there was a lot of water damage and no one was hurt. The addition to the building is going well. Met with the Library Comm along with Supervisor Tooley on bookmobile issues. The Library Comm is looking into a new vehicle and are wondering if the county will still fund the bookmobile for whatever the cost. They would like a commitment from the county for funding. Supervisor Pfeifer rec’d a thank you from the State Patrol for providing them space in the courthouse.
