Jeff Christensen,NENEDD reviewed the B-D Project regarding the CDBG requirements with the Co Bd. Steel bids for the Hwy Dept were opened and read.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy Supt to review and to report back with his findings.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the steel bid from Husker Steel as presented. Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Hwy Supt to advertise for sealed bids on a 2005 3/4  ton pickup and 2005 10yd dump truck to be opened on 3-15-05 at 9:30a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Chairman to sign the utility appl for Cornhusker PPD.Motion carried. Motion carried.A hearing was held at 10:10a.m. requesting a budget amendment for Community Development Block Grant Project #02-ED-023, Shell Valley Co. Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 10:17a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the requested budget amendment to increase the general administration budget to include additional costs of $426.00 incurred to conduct an archeological study for this project.Motion carried. Mike Munson requested the approval of the final plat and resolution for Lake Oconee Fourth Subdivision. The following resolution was presented: PLATTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLUTION NO. 05-04 RESOLVED, that the plat for the Estates at Lake Oconee Fourth Subdivision, a subdivision of part of the NW 1/4 of 18-T17N-R1W and part of the NE 1/4  of 13-T17N,R2W, Platte County, Nebraska is hereby approved; and RESOLVED further, that the 40’ road right of way with a 24’ roadway in lieu of a 601 road right of way is hereby approved; and RESOLVED further, that the Chairman of the Platte county Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to sign said plat and accompanying documents to finalize the platting process. Public Comments: David Bell, Loup Public Power presented a letter requesting to deed right-of-way for 15th Street running west from East 29th Avenue. He will be on the agenda for 3-1-05 for the Co Boards action. Committee Reports: Supervisor Pfeifer talked to Mr Dennis Duffy about being Platte County’s non-elected representative on the NE Nebr Economic Development District. Mr. Duffy has accepted and will be reimbursed for his meals and mileage. Supervisor Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting Friday at the Juvenile Detention Center; they will also have another presentation on the refinancing of their bonds. Supervisor Franzen stated Mr. Hofbauer will officially start work on the 16th, and he as a Weed District meeting on 3-1-05 in the afternoon .Moved and seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the Co Clk be ordered to issue warrants of the same on the respective funds.Motion carried.
