The Platte Co Bd Equalization met in session for the purpose
of holding hearings on Property Valuation Protests beginning at nine o’clock in the morning. Honorable John
Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members
present: Supervisors Martens,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.
Absent: Supervisor Friedrichsen. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo
for notice of public meeting were read. The Chairman has decided instead of
signing the protests, he will use his signature stamp as an approved
substitute. The Property Valuation Protest hearing was held July 18, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. to hear protest no’s 1-38, 40-69, 76-91 and 140.
The Chairman recessed the meeting until 1:00
p.m. The Chairman reconvened the meeting at 1:00p.m. The Chairman recessed the meeting until 7-19-05 at 9:00 a.m. Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd

presented.Moved and seconded authorize the Co Sher to advertise for a new
deputy. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the quote as presented by
Tim Hofbauer for a server upgrade not to exceed $12242.00 to be taken from the
capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Clk of Dist Crt to
rent a scanner and bar code readers on a month to month contract at $150.00 per

Supervisor Martens attended a meeting 7-8-05
at the Col Area Chamber of Commerce regarding the funding for the County
Museum. He attended another meeting
on 7-25-05. Supervisor
Franzen attended a homeland security meeting in North
Platte. Supervisor Lloyd was again contacted by two
cemetery associations requesting funds for maintenance upkeep. Supervisor
Friedrichsen will attend a meeting at the Juvenile
Center in Madison
