Pursuant to adjournment he Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. David Bell, Loup PPD requested to deed the right-of-way for 15th Street running west from East 29th Avenue. Mr. Bell will work with the Hwy Supt to et all the necessary paperwork completed. Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Chairman to sign the building contract for the new shop at Platte Center.Motion carried.The Hwy Supt was contacted by the Granville Cemetery Assn requesting the county put in a driveway so people can get to the cemetery. The Co Bd and the Co Atty have no problem with this. The driveway will not affect the adjoining property owner. The Co Bd appointed a non-elected representative to the Northeast Nebr Economic Development Dist .Moved and seconded to appoint Dennis Duffy as the non-elected representative for Platte County. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to refer the cruisers bids to the Co Sher for review and to report back with his findings.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Co Sher to purchase two (2) police cruisers from Ernst Auto Center in the amt of $19708.54 each to be taken out of the capital acct.Motion carried. Al Eveland, Ameritas Investment Corp discussed refunding alternatives with the Co Bd.The Co Bd will look over the info presented. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen has a meeting at the Juvenile Detention Center at which they will have more discussions on the refunding of their bonds. The Co Bd conducted their quarterly jail inspection and found it to be in satisfactory condition.Moved and seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the Co Clk be ordered to issue warrants of the same on the respective funds.Motion carried.
