Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented. A hearing was held at 9:00a.m. on the appl requesting a loan from the Platte Co Revolving Loan Fund. Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 9:17a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the payment on 5-5-05.Motion withdrawn. Motion carried.The following resolution  was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 05-11 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF PLATTE, IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA, as follows Section 1. The Board of Supervisors hereby finds and determines: That the County has heretofore issued its Series 2004 Road Improvement Bonds dated April 1,2004, the outstanding bonds of which mature on April 1,2014 and which bear interest at the rate of 4.5% per annum. Outstanding bonds of such issue being herein referred to as the “Outstanding Bonds”. Said bonds were issued for the purpose of furnishing rural road improvements in Rural Road Improvement District 2 in the County. Section 2. A portion of the Outstanding Bonds due as shown below, in the principal amount of $73000.00, be and they are hereby irrevocably called for payment and redemption on June 15,2005. The bonds are redeemed as follows: 2010 $9649.11- 2011 $14807.87-2012 $15474.22-2013 $16170.56-2014 $16898.24. Said Bonds are to be presented for payment on June 15,2005, at the office of the Union Bank and Trust Company, Lincoln, Nebraska, as Paying Agent and Registrar. Section 3. A true copy of this Resolution shall be filed by the Clerk of the County with Union Bank and Trust Company, as Paying Agent and Registrar. Said Paying Agent and Registrar is hereby instructed to select the Bonds for partial redemption pursuant to the Resolution, and mail notice to each registered owner of the Bonds selected for  redemption not less than thirty days prior to the date fixed for redemption, all in accordance with the resolution authorizing the Bonds. Moved and seconded file the General Assist Adm report for April 2005.Motion carried.Moved and seconded adopt Res No. 05-12 Approving Depository and securities for Pinnacle Bank.Motion carried.A letter was rec’d from Central Nebr Comm Services requesting a representative of the county to sign the Memorandum of Endorsement of the THRIVES Program for the 2006-2007 grant year. Moved and seconded authorize the Chairman to sign the Memorandum of Endorsement of the THRIVES Program for the 2006-2007 grant year. Motion carried.Moved and seconded file the Certificate of Liability Ins for B-D Constr.Motion carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen attended the meeting at the Juvenile Detention Center at which they approve the refinancing of the  bonds. Supervisor Woerth discussed E-911.Moved and seconded to remove item four, the adoption of the  Platte County Employee Handbook from the agenda. Motion carried.Moved and seconded approve the performance bond for B-D Constr Inc.Motion carried. Supervisor Friedrichsen, before the Co Bd as a whole, verbally resigned from the County Museum Inc Bd of Directors. Chairman Woerth accepted Supervisor Friedrichsen’ s resignation and appointed Supervisor Martens to represent Platte Co on the Columbus Museum Inc Bd of Directors.
