presented.Moved and seconded approve tax corrections #13234 thru #13237 as

held at 9:20a.m. to open the county
budget for an additional $30000.00 in the Federal Grant Fund. Moved and
seconded to conclude the hearing at 9:23a.m.Motion carried.The following
resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 05-13 WHEREAS, the Platte Co Board of
Supervisors have declared an emergency in the County within the Federal Grant
Fund as stated in State Statute 13-510;WHEREAS, an appropriation was made to
the Platte Co Federal Grant Fund to establish the Revolving Loan Fund using
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds which are available to
businesses in Platte County; WHEREAS, a need of an additional appropriation of
thirty thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) in expenditures exists for continued
operation of the Federal Grant Fund for the remainder of the 2004-05 fiscal
year; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of Platte
County,Nebraska on the 17th day of May,2005, that said Board of
Supervisors authorize the County Clerk to increase the budget to spend an
additional thirty thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from the Federal Grant Fund for
the remainder of the fiscal year. Dated this 17th day of May,2005.

continue with a one(1) yr contract or go to a two(2) yr contract for long
distance. Moved and seconded the county renew their one(1) yr long distance
contract with Qwest Corp.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Co
Sher to purchase the filing system from Eakes Office Plus in the amt of
$8866.00 to come out of the capital acct. Motion carried.The Co Assessor
presented bids for aerial photography and web based access for IMS to the Co Bd. Moved and seconded to accept the
bid from GIS Workshop for aerial photography of rural farm sites in the amt of $20000.00
to be taken out of the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to table
the request of the Co Assessor of providing internet mapping info until the
next meeting.Motion carried.Moved and seconded authorize the Dist Probation
Office to purchase two(2) copy machines from OfficeNet in the amt of $4645.00
each. Motion carried. Bill Rongish,BD Const discussed the renaming of 22nd
Street, which is being built to connect 12th Ave with 14th
Ave the Randy Cook Street with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to table this issue
until the City Council makes a decision. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to
appoint Robert Walgren and Charles Sahs to the Airport Zoning Board effective
June 1,2005.Motion carried.Tim Hofbauer Emergency Manager discussed communication
and computer issues with the Co Bd. Robert Trautwein Library Director discussed
funding issues related to library service for county residents with the Co
Bd.Moved and seconded to refer the supply bids to the Hwy Supt to review and
report back with his findings.Motion carried.Moved and seconded accept the
culvert bid from Midwest Service&Sales for next fiscal year in the amt of
$92194.12.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept all gravel bids from
Nosal Sand&Gravel and Central Sand& Gravel. Motion carried. There was a
discussion on the purchase of a used tractor for the Hwy Dept by the Co
Bd.Moved and seconded authorize the Hwy Supt to advertise for a special
purchase of a used MX 180 140hp tractor for $62500.00 to be considered at the
next meeting.Motion carried.Moved and seconded go into executive session at
12?40p.m. to discuss the library contract. Motion carried. Moved and seconded

May 11-12,2005. Supervisor
Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting at the Juvenile Detention Facility in Madison.

a special meeting beginning at 7:00p.m.
Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the
following members present: Supervisors Martens, Lloyd, Pfeifer,Franzen and
Chairman Woerth. Absent: Supervisors Friedrichsen and Tooley.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele for notice of special
meeting were presented. A hearing was held at 7:00p.m.
for all registered voters residing in the boundaries as published who wish to
transfer their property from the Monroe Fire District into the Platte Center
Rural Fire District. Eighteen people were present of which four were property
owners wishing to transfer to Platte Center Fire District. After a lengthy
question and answer session the Chairman informed those present, the Co Bd has
45 days to make a decision. Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at
8:04p.m.Motion carried.The Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
