Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session beginning at 9:00 in the
morning. Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and
the following members present: Supervisors Martens,
Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth. The Aff Publ
from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were
presented.Moved and seconded to approve the request of K.C. Belitz, Chamber of
Commerce in the amt of $10000.00 for economic development to come from the Inh
Tax Fund.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the pay increases for the
deputies as requested by the Co Sher to be effective 11-01-05. Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to sell two vehicles at the
city auction on 10-22-05.
Motion carried. Public Comments: City of Col,
Mayor Mike Moser presented to the Chairman of the Co Bd a copy of state
statutes on the formation of a railroad safety district. This committee would consist
of three councilmen and three supervisors. The purpose of this committee would
be to move, construct or reconstruct any railroad bridge, viaduct or subway.
The Mayor wanted to keep the Co Bd informed of what has been happening. Moved
and seconded to approve the minutes of 9-20-05.Motion carried.A hearing was
held at 9:30a.m. to consider the
issuance of a special designated permit to St Michaels Church for an event
being held at St Michaels Church on 11-6-05 with an alternate date of
11-13-05.Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 9:36a.m.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded that the Platte co Bd Supervisors recommend to the
Nebr Liquor Control Comm that the special designated permit for St Michaels
Church for an event being held at St Michaels Church on 11-6-05 with an
alternate date of 11-13-05 be granted. Motion carried.The Co Atty discussed the
salary adjustment for the new deputy atty with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to
approve the salary increase for Victoria Xiong from $35500.00 to $38000.00 to
be effective 10-15-05.
Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the utility
appl for Paul Ramaekers.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the
Chairman to sign the utility appl for Mike Schreiber. Motion carried. Chairman

RESOLUTION NO. 05-32 WHEREAS, the County of Platte, Nebraska is the owner and
holder of several Certificate of Tax Sale of several parcels of real property
issued to the County of Platte, Nebraska, for all delinquent regular taxes
thereon, and which having been regularly advertised and offered for sale at tax
sale, and remaining unsold for want of bidders, were not sold to said County of
Platte, Nebraska, and Certificate of Tax Sale issued thereon under provisions
of Nebraska Revised Statutes, Sec. 77-1809 (1981), and WHEREAS, more than three
(3) years has elapsed since the above-mentioned issuance of such respective
Certificates of Tax Sale and less than ninety (90) days has elapsed since the
end of the above-mentioned three (3) year period, and by reason thereof the
right to redemption of the owners of claimants of such respective tracts of
real property has expired. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that Andrea Belgau,
Platte County Attorney, be and she is hereby directed, as promptly under the
circumstances as is reasonable possible to do, to institute action to foreclose
the lien of all real property within Platte County,Nebraska, which having been
heretofore advertised and offered for sale and remaining unsold for want of
bidders was sold to the County of Platte, Nebraska, and Certificates of Tax Sale

Friedrichsen attended the Juvenile Detention meeting and everything is looking
well. He rec’d a draft of the county audit which he will review and get
together with the Co Clk. Supervisor Tooley stated the self-funding insurance
for the county seems to be going well. Supervisor Woerth talked to Mayor Moser
about the railroad safety committee and he would like the rest of the board to
keep this committee in mind. Moved and seconded that the following claims be
