Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of meeting were presented. The Dept of Agriculture presented a briefing on the bird issue with the Co Bd. Moved and seconded to go ahead and approve the Cooperative Service Agreement and Project Work Plan between Platte County and the U.S. Dept of Agriculture for wildlife services from May 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007 for $5,240.00 subject to revised contract for the Chairman’s signature. Motion carried.The Elect Comm discussed the purchase of elect software with the Co Bd and the delivery of the AutoMark machines to the precincts in the county.Moved and seconded to approve the request of the elect comm to purchase the elect ERM software for a one time cost of $5000.00 to be paid from the misc acct.The yearly $1000.00 maint cost will come from the elect comm budget. Motion carried.  Asphalt bids for the Hwy Dept were opened and read.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy Supt to review and to report back as soon as possible. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the asphalt bid from Jebro Inc for the Hwy Dept.Motion carried. Loren Cleveland and Shorty Grudzinski Jr from BTS discussed a new phone system with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 3-21-06.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to file the St Nebr Dept of Natural Resources appl for a permit to temporarily change the location and purpose of use for a portion of waste appropriation. It was a very good meeting. Supervisor Franzen discussed the proposed weed dept agreement. Supervisor Tooley attended the safety meeting on 3-28-06 at the courthouse. Supervisor Friedrichsen attended a meeting  at the Juvenile Detention facility in Madison, they are doing well financially and several problems are being rectified. Supervisor Pfeifer attended the Keystone Pipeline open house. Moved and seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the Co Clk be ordered to issue warrants of the same on the respective funds.Motion carried.
