Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Equalization met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning. Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Aff of Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded to approve the mtr vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax correction #13258 thru #13262 for real estate and personal property as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.The Co Assessor informed the Co Bd the permissive exemptions are on file in their office.Moved and seconded to approve the permissive exemption for St John’s Lutheran Church and School for 2006.Motion carried.The Chairman declared the meeting adjourned to          2-21-06 at 9:00a.m. Attest:Diane C Pinger,Clk of the Co Bd,John Woerth,Chairman.

Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:10a.m. Honorable John Woerth, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen, Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth. Larry Zach and Lyle Ernst discussed the creation of a Platte Co Museum Fund with the Co Bd.They also presented a proposal for the Co Bd to consider. The Co Bd will research the issue and take action at a later date. Moved and seconded to approve the copy machine purchase for the Co Sher from OfficeNet in the amt of $995.00 to be taken from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to purchase a Hewlett Packard notebook computer for $1045.00 to be taken from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to hire a new deputy. Motion carried. JoAnn Emerson, CASA State Director, discussed the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program with the Co Bd. Due to loss of funding through Co Court’s budget, they are requesting direct funding from the Co Bd to keep this program running. The Co Bd will take their concerns under consideration. Moved and seconded to approve the requests from Allan Vyhnalek and Lisa Kaslon to attend out-of-state conferences. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the proposal from O’Keefe Elevator to rekey the elevator to the 4th floor, for security purposes, in the amt of $726.00 to be paid from the Spl Bldg Fund.Motion carried. Moved and seconded to accept the quote from Leffers Elect in the amt of $3197.60 for a new phone system at the Platte Co Maint Facility to be paid out of the Special Bldg Fund. Committee Reports: Supervisor Pfeifer asked what committee will be looking into the funding requests from CASA and the Historical Society. The Chairman stated the Finance Comm will look into this.Supervisor Friedrichsen attended the Ext Office monthly meeting and will be attending a meeting in Madison at the Juvenile Detention Facility. Supervisor Woerth met with Daniel Schinstock of Engineering Technologies along with Greg Eller and they looked at the mechanical system on the airflow in the Hall of Justice.
