Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session beginning at 9:00 in the
morning. Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C
Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors
Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth. Absent:
Supervisor Pfeifer. The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of
public meeting were presented. Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to
purchase a 2006 Dodge Charger in the amt of $19939.00 to be paid from the
capital acct.Motion carried. Darwin Sieh discussed drainage issues along his
property with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to authorize the Hwy Supt to
advertise for asphalt bids to be opened on 4-4-06 at 9:30a.m.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to approve the Co Assessor’s request to upgrade her
copy/printer machine to include color with a 4 year lease from Eakes for
$259.50. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes for

bond for Husker Steel Inc.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to table Item E( Duncan Ease Improvement Project) until the next
meeting.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to file the Veterans Aid Expenditures
reports for January and February 2006.Motion carried. Committee Reports:
Supervisor Friedrichsen attended a meeting at the Juvenile
Detention Center
in Madison. He also reported Mr.
Mike Applegate was appt to the Jail Standards Board. Supervisor Martens reported
that Supervisor Woerth, Pfeifer and himself attended a meeting with Mr. Jeff
Rauh of Neil Palmer& Assoc on the TransCanada Keystone Pipeline Project
which will affect properties in the northeast section of the county.Moved and
seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the County
Clerk issue warrants of the same on
the respective funds.
