Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded to approve tax corrections #13272 the #13277 for real estate and personal property as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the permissive exemption for St Isidore Church on land only. Because of the date and inclement weather Mr. Peetz was unable to attend the board meeting to discuss the CASA Program.Moved and seconded to remove from the table the assessment for the Duncan East Improvement Project.Motion carried.Moved and seconded that the Co Assessor be instructed to assess the Duncan East Improvement Project against each piece of property for current operation and maintenance per the assessment schedule and the Co Treasurer be instructed to collect the same. Motion carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen attended a meeting at the Madison Juvenile Center and stated financially they are in the black. He also stated since he is chairman of the Judiciary Committee, they would need to discuss about having a policy in writing in case future board meetings are re-scheduled because of inclement weather. Supervisor Martens attended a meeting on 3-9-06 on the Col Museum Board. Supervisor Woerth rec’d a letter from Congressman Tom Osborne on the feasibility study on the Platte River bridge south of Columbus. He also rec’d a letter on a possible merger of the Village of Leigh Fire District and the Leigh Rural Fire District. He also discussed the possible vehicle re-placement for the county maintenance employee. He is looking for guidance from the rest of the board and the county sheriff will supply them with more info. The Co Bd conducted their quarterly jail inspection and found it to be satisfactory.
