session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C
Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,
Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman
informed the general public on the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff
Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were
presented.Moved and seconded the approve to approve the agenda as presented.
Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 10-3-06 and
10-17-06.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following mtr vehicle
exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Iglesia Del Evangelio Emanuel
Church, Columbus Rescue Mission, Rainbow Center, Columbus Family YMCA and Youth
for Christ in Columbus Inc.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax
corrections #13310 thru #13314 on real estate and personal property as recommended

session beginning at 9:10a.m.Honorable John Woerth, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co
Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors
Martens,Friedrichsen, Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The
Chairman informed the general public on the posting of the open meeting laws. Public
Comments: Larry Loseke presented concerns on the wording of the sale bill for
the Platte Center Property.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as
presented.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Atty to hire Carl K.Hart,Jr with a starting salary of $42000.00 effective
12-15-06.Motion carried.The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO.
06-25 WHEREAS,there has been signed by Platte County
on the 18th day of May, 1999, and the State on the 4th
day of June,1999,an agreement providing for the construction of a Federal Aid
Project beginning at the Southwest Corner of Section 25, Township 18
North,Range 2 West and extends 0.1 mile north, crossing the Columbus Genoa
Canal. WHEREAS, in the above agreement, the County has pledged sufficient funds
to finance its share of the cost of the construction of this project identified
as BHO-7071(8),and WHEREAS,the above mentioned agreement provided that the
County would pay all costs not paid for with Federal or State funds,and WHEREAS,the State received bids for the
construction of this project on November 2,2006 at which time three bids were
received for the construction of this proposed work, and WHEREAS,the following
contractor(s) for the items of work listed has been selected as the low
bidder(s) to whom the contract(s) should be awarded: Grading, Bridge,
Guardrail, General Items: $351,028.40. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the
above facts, the Board of Supervisors of Platte County, by this resolution,
takes the following official action: 1. If for any reason the Federal Highway
Administration rescinds, limits its obligations, or defers payment of the
Federal share of the cost of this project, the County hereby agrees to provide
the necessary funds to pay for all costs incurred until and in the event such
Federal funds are allowed and paid. 2. The Board hereby concurs in the
selection of the above mentioned contractor(s) for the items of work listed, to
whom the contract(s) should be awarded. 3. The Board hereby authorized the
Chairman to sign the contract(s) for the above mentioned work. 4. The Board
does not desire to perform any of the work with its own forces in lieu of

on inmate medical bills. Supervisor Friedrichsen attended a meeting on Friday(17) at the Juvenile Detention Facility where they
discussed their retirement program. Supervisor Woerth stated the carpet in the
lobby and 3rd floor needs some attention. Moved and seconded that

Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session for a special meeting at 10:00
in the morning. Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call
and the following members present: Supervisors
Martens,Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Toolay and Chairman Woerth.The
Chairman informed the general public on the posting of the open meeting
laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of special
meeting were presented. A public auction for the sale of real estate owned by
Platte Co located in Platte Center,Nebr
known as the “Platte County Highway Dept Shop Area” was held on Wednesday,Nov 29,2006 at 10:00a.m. Mr. August Runge,Buss
Auction& Realty Co introduced various individuals before starting the auction.
The Co Bd and the Hwy Supt recessed at 10:15a.m.
to confer on the final bid as a whole. Moved and
seconded to sell the real estate property for $72,500.00 as a whole or better.
Motion carried.The Co Bd reconvened the auction at 10:20a.m.Lots 1,2 and 4 were sold $92,000.00 as a whole. The Chairman
declared the meeting adjourned at 10:30a.m.
