Moved and seconded to allow the Hwy Supt to send four employees to  participate in the APWA (American Public Works Association) snowplow rodeo May 2-3, 2007 at Ag Park for $30.00 per person to be paid from the Road-Bridge Fund. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to remove from the table dump truck bids. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the dump truck bid from Wicks Sterling Trucks Inc in the amt of $67343.00 with trade-in.Motion carried. Public Comments: Eric Freeman introduced himself as the new reporter with the Columbus Telegram to the Co Bd. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen attended the Col Chamber meeting and will be attending the Region IV meeting on Friday (6). Supervisor Franzen has a NIRMA meeting the end of April and will be discussing health insurance. Supervisor Martens will be attending the extension board meeting this evening. Supervisor Woerth discussed getting specs for a new phone system. Sheriff Zavadil would like to get a security camera on the overhead garage doors at the detention facility. He also discussed replacing the east steps. Moved and seconded to remove from the table the adoption of Res No. 07-12 for Willow Wind 2nd Subsivision.Motion carried.Mr Gerhold has requested a continuance to give him more time to get the issues resolved. John Ebner from the Oconee Township Board also raised some concerns regarding Willow Wind 2nd Subdivision. Moved and seconded to remove item 4 from the agenda. Motion carried. Asphalt bid for the Hwy Dept were opened and read.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy Supt to review and to report back later in the meeting.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the asphalt bid from Jebro Co., for the Hwy Dept.Motion carried.Moved and seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the Co Clk be ordered to issue warrants of the same on the respective funds.Motion carried.
