session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John P Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following
members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley
and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman informed the public on the posting of the open
meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public
meeting were presented.
Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 7-17-07, 7-18-07 and
7-19-07.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax corrections #13356
thru #13359 on personal property and real estate as recommended by the Co
Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following mtr vehicle
exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Holy Family School& Church, St.
Bonaventure School and St Francis Church& School. Motion carried.The

session beginning at 9:10a.m.
Honorable John P Woerth, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the
following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen,
Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman informed the
public on the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele
and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded
to approve the agenda.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to remove from the
table the request from Time Warner Cable for an extension of their agreement.
Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the Cable Television Franchise
Agreement between Time Warner Cable and Platte
County. Motion carried.The Co Sher
discussed the purchase of a new recorder for dispatch with the Co Bd.The Hwy
Supt presented a letter from ADM requesting permission from the Co Bd to
re-locate approximately 2200 ft of the county road.Moved and seconded to allow
ADM to proceed with the engineering on the relocation of the county road
approximately 2200 ft.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co
Atty to purchase two printers in the amt of $229.98 to be paid from the capital
acct.Motion carried. Jeff Rauh from TransCanada presented an update on the
Keystone Pipeline Project to the Co Bd.This will affect three miles in the
northeast corner of Platte County. A hearing was held at 10:00a.m. to consider the issuance of a Special
Designated Permit to St Michaels Church for an event being held at St Michaels
Church on 11-4-07 with a snow date of 11-11-07.Moved and seconded to conclude
the hearing at 10:04a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded that the Platte Co Bd
Supervisors recommend to the Nebr Liquor control Comm that the Special
Designated Permit for St Michaels Church for an event on 11-4-07 with a snow
date of 11-11-07 be granted. Motion carried. Sam Bethune, Public Defender
discussed his expense claim for the out-of-state seminar with the Co Bd.The Co
Bd discussed the renewal with Express Script. Moved and seconded to approve the
minutes of 8-7-07. Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to approve the monthly fee reports.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to file the Col Public Library report for July
2007.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the official bond on John
Miksch for Lost Creek Township.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to adopt Res

Supervisor Martens discussed a claim that was disallowed at the last board

Woerth.The Chairman informed the public on the posting of the open meeting
laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting
were presented.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda.Motion carried.The
following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 07-32 WHEREAS, Nebr State
Statute 77-3443(3) requires all political subdivisions subject to county levy
authority to submit a preliminary request for levy allocation to the county
board; and WHEREAS, the townships,fire districts, agricultural society,
library, RRID #1 have sent resolutions to the Platte County Clerk for a
preliminary tax request for fiscal year 2007-2008. NOW,THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, the Platte County Board of Supervisors have limited the levy for
