Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John P Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws. Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried. Scow,Rief,Kruse& Schumacher PC discussed the county audit and agreed upon procedures with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to allow the auditors to adopt the procedures to be performed with the selection of bank accts to be picked by Scow,Rief,Kruse& Schumacher PC. Darla Schiefelbein,Co Crt discussed a Continuity of Operations Plan with the Co Bd.The Co Assessor requested the approval of the Permissive Exemption Appls for Lighthouse Baptist Church and Prairie Village Home Corp of Columbus. Moved and seconded to approve the permissive exemption for Lighthouse Baptist Church. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the permissive exemption up to 40% for Prairie Village Home Corp of Columbus.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to remove from the table the request from Time Warner Cable for an extension of their agreement. The Personnel Comm presented a new monthly premium for the county health insurance.Moved and seconded to set the new health insurance rates for Platte County to be effective 8-1-07 as follows: employee only $479.28, employee spouse/child $962.14 and employee family $1100.76.
