Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C
Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present:Supervisors Martens,
Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman
informed the general public on the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff
Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were
presented.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion
carried.A hearing was held at 9:00a.m. for the purpose
of considering the issuance of a Retail On & Off Sale License to Platte Co
Ag Society dba Columbus Races.
Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 9:16a.m..Motion
carried.Moved and seconded that the Platte Co Bd Supervisors recommend to the
Nebr Liquor Control Comm that the On & Off Sale
License for the Platte Co Ag Society dba Columbus Races be granted.Motion
failed.The Chairman recessed the Bd Supervisors at 9:25a.m. to conduct the Bd Eq
meeting.

Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Moved and
seconded to approve the minutes of 12-19-06.Motion carried.Moved and seconded
to approve tax corrections #13319 thru #13327 on real estate and personal
property as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to
approve the permissive exemption that are on file in the Co Assessors
Office.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following mtr vehicle
exemptions as recommended by the Co Treasurer: Victory Christian Fellowship,
Holy Family Church, Scotus Central Catholic High School. Motion carried.The
Chairman declared the meeting adjourned to 2-20-07 at 9:00a.m.

Co Sher to purchase the 2007 Dodge Charger from Lincoln Dodge for $19297.00 and
the 2007 Ford Explorer from Anderson Ford in Lincoln for $21997.00 to be paid
from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co
Sher to purchase a 2007 Chevrolet Express half ton van from Ernst Auto Center
in the amt of $14095.00 for the maint employee to be paid from the capital
acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign Res
No. 07-01, the Warranty Deeds and any other documents for the Platte Center
property as presented by Patty Beckner, Tri-County Title. Motion carried.The One and Six Year Road hearing was held from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.Moved and seconded to
conclude the hearing at 11:00a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to add
Project No C-71(707) grading and paving of 2.5 miles north of the Mason Road to
the six year plan. Motion failed.Moved and seconded to add Project No.
C-71(707) hard surfacing of 2.0 miles north of the Dickie Doodles Road on East
29th Avenue to the six year plan. Motion died due to lack of a
second. Moved and seconded that the One and Six Year Road Program be accepted
as presented by the Hwy Supt.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the
minutes of 1-2-07 and 1-4-07.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the
Hwy Supt to advertise for steel bids to be opened on 2-20-07 at 9:30a.m. Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to accept the quote from Schreiber Bros Inc to paint
walls, ceilings in corridors and stairwells on three floors in the amt of $8738.00
to be paid from Bldg Grds.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the

Interest for the Chairmans signature on the Proclamation that Platte County is

Co Bd sign the signature report for the Sec of State. Motion carried.Moved and
seconded to approve the official bonds of John Coffey, Robert Blaser and Martin
Jareske Jr for Butler Township.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to file
NIRMA’s 1st quarter workers compensation report for August-October

for Dec 2006.Motion carried.Committee Reports: Supervisor Martens attended the
extension meeting with Supervisor Friedrichsen and they also will be attending
the next Reg IV meeting in Norfolk.
Supervisor Franzen will be attending the NIRMA meeting in Kearney
on 2-7-07 at which dividend
checks will be disbursed. Supervisor Tooley has been talking with Col Hosp
regarding an agreement for the inmate bills. Supervisor Friedrichsen will be
attending a meeting at the Juvenile Detention
Center in Madison
on Friday(19).Moved and seconded that the following
