presented.The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting
laws. Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion

personal property and real estate as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion

carried.Richard Bates, Time Warner Cable, requested that the Co Bd extend their
current agreement. Moved and seconded to table the request of Time Warner Cable
for an extension of their agreement to 8-7-07
to be reviewed by the Co Atty.Motion carried. Greg Lower, Gilmore & Assoc requested
the adoption of Res No. 07-28 approving the final plat of Bierman Contracting
Inc Subdivision. The following resolution was passed: RESOLUTION NO. 07-28 A
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PLATTE COUNTY,
NEBRASKA TO APPROVE THE PLAT OF BIERMAN
CONTRACTING INC. SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION OF A PART OF THE SE1/4 OF SECTION
15, T17N, R1E OF THE 6TH P.M. IN PLATTE COUNTY, NEBRASKA. WHEREAS,
Bierman Property Management, L.L.C. and Wilma Jean Dohmen are the owners of
real estate located in: A tract of land located in the SE1/4 of Section 15,
T17N, R1E of the 6th P.M. in Platte County, Nebraska, more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of
Section 15, T17N, R1E of the 6th P.M. in Platte County, Nebraska,
and assuming the east line of said SE1/4 to have a bearing of N 00º 05’ 01” E;
thence N 00º 05’ 01” E on said east line, 555.14 feet, to the northeast corner
of a tract of land previously surveyed by Brian D. Benck, L.S. #536 on October
27, 1997, said point also being the point of beginning; thence S 89º 50’ 16” W
on the north line of said tract, 532.88 feet, to the northwest corner of said
tract; thence N 00º 04’ 26” E, 1,122.10 feet, to the north line of a tract of
land previously surveyed by Douglas J. Stevenson, L.S. #485, on July 14, 1993;
thence S 89º 58’ 21” E on said north line, 533.07 feet; thence S 00º 05’ 01” W,

owners have laid out said land into lots, streets, avenues and way and easement
areas under the name of “Bierman Contracting Inc. Subdivision” and have caused
an accurate plat thereof to be made, designating the land so laid out and

belonging to said subdivision, as provided by law, a copy of which plat is
submitted herewith, and WHEREAS, said owners have executed a Deed of Dedication
of the lots, streets, avenues and ways and easement areas to the use and

19,2007,certifying the same as provided by law, and WHEREAS, at the regularly
scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Columbus,Nebraska
held on July 16,2007, said proposed final plat and subdivision was approved the

that said plat of Bierman Contracting Inc. Subdivision, certified by Eric M.

things approved; that the lots and public ways appearing on said plat and
described in said Deed of dedication be approved; that the public ways
appearing on said Plat and described in said Deed of Dedication be accepted and
incorporated into the public road system of Platte County,Nebraska, at such
time as dedicators have opened the same to proper grade, width and necessary
drainage as may be directed by the County Road Commissioner. Introduced by

Danzig from BAS discussed the hlth insurance renewal with the Co Bd.Moved and
seconded BAS to with option one 12/12 or option two 15/12 and authorize the
personnel committee to make a decision between the two plans by July 31,2007
and inform the Co Bd as a whole of their decision on 8-7-07.Motion

on Monroe South with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to authorize the Hwy Supt to

2007-2008.Motion carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Martens reported there
was no extension meeting because of the fair and he will be attending the ECDHD
meeting next week. Supervisor Franzen reported he rec’d a letter from NIRMA on
the reduction of the county’s workman’s compensation premium. Supervisor Tooley
and the Co Atty are still in negotiations with Col
Hospital on the inmate medical
bills. Supervisor Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting in Madison
on Friday (20) and a chamber meeting on Monday (23). Supervisor Woerth reported
he contact Gilmore& Assoc on the east steps of the courthouse. Moved and
