Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Equal met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John P. Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Aff of Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws. Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 6-19-07.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax corrections #13352 thru #13355 on personal property and real estate as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following mtr vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: St Vincent De Paul/Simon House Inc., Rainbow Center Inc and St Isidore Church of Columbus.Motion carried.The Chairman recessed the Bd of Equal to 1:00p.m. The Chairman reconvened the Bd Equal at 1:00p.m. for the Property Valuation Protest Hearings. Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:10a.m.Honorable John P Woerth, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen, Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman informed the public on the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Richard Bates, Time Warner Cable, requested that the Co Bd extend their current agreement. Moved and seconded to table the request of Time Warner Cable for an extension of their agreement to 8-7-07 to be reviewed by the Co Atty.Motion carried. Greg Lower, Gilmore & Assoc requested the adoption of Res No. 07-28 approving the final plat of Bierman Contracting Inc Subdivision. The following resolution was passed: RESOLUTION NO. 07-28 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PLATTE COUNTY, NEBRASKA TO APPROVE THE PLAT OF BIERMAN CONTRACTING INC. SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION OF A PART OF THE SE1/4 OF SECTION 15, T17N, R1E OF THE 6TH P.M. IN PLATTE COUNTY, NEBRASKA. WHEREAS, Bierman Property Management, L.L.C. and Wilma Jean Dohmen are the owners of real estate located in: A tract of land located in the SE1/4 of Section 15, T17N, R1E of the 6th P.M. in Platte County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of Section 15, T17N, R1E of the 6th P.M. in Platte County, Nebraska, and assuming the east line of said SE1/4 to have a bearing of N 00º 05’ 01” E; thence N 00º 05’ 01” E on said east line, 555.14 feet, to the northeast corner of a tract of land previously surveyed by Brian D. Motion carried.The Hwy Supt discussed right-of-way matters on Monroe South with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to authorize the Hwy Supt to proceed with the change in deed for Mr Erwin. Committee Reports: Supervisor Martens reported there was no extension meeting because of the fair and he will be attending the ECDHD meeting next week. Supervisor Franzen reported he rec’d a letter from NIRMA on the reduction of the county’s workman’s compensation premium. Supervisor Tooley and the Co Atty are still in negotiations with Col Hospital on the inmate medical bills. Supervisor Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting in Madison on Friday (20) and a chamber meeting on Monday (23). Supervisor Woerth reported he contact Gilmore& Assoc on the east steps of the courthouse.
