NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the above facts, the Board of Supervisors of Platte County, by this resolution, takes the following official action: 1.If for any reason the Federal Highway Administration rescinds, limits its obligations, or defers payment of the Federal share of the cost of this project, the County hereby agrees to provide the necessary funds to pay for all costs incurred until and in the event such Federal funds are allowed and paid. 2.The Board hereby concurs in the selection of the above mentioned contractor(s) for the items of work listed, to whom the contract(s) should be awarded. 3.The Board hereby authorizes the Chairman to sign the contract(s) with the above mentioned contractor(s) for the above mentioned work. 4.The Board does not desire to perform any of the work with its own forces in lieu of performing the work by the contract method. Committee Reports: Supervisor Martens attended the extension board meeting, they brought up some concerns which will be given to the Bldg Grds Committee. He also brought up the issue of the copy machine on 2nd floor. Supervisor Tooley as Chairman of the Personnel Committee suggested the County look at the employee handbook regarding sick leave, this issue was discussed at the Northeast District meeting. Supervisor Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting at the Juvenile Detention facility on Friday(22), he will also be attending a Region IV meeting on 4-5-07.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Atty to attend an out-of-state seminar funded by the National College of District Attorneys.
