Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in
session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following
members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley
and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman informed the public on the posing of the open
meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public
meeting were presented.
Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion
carried.The following resolution was presented: PLATTE COUNTY BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS RESOLUTION NO. 07-11 RESOLVED, that the plat for The Estates at
Lake Oconee Sixth Subdivision, a subdivision part of the NW 1/4 and part of the NE
1/4 of
18-T17N-R1W, Platte County,Nebraska
is hereby approved; and RESOLVED, further, that the 40’ road right of way with
a 24’ roadway in lieu of a 60’ road right of way is hereby approved; and RESOLVED,further,that
the Chairman of the Platte County Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to
sign said plat and accompanying documents of finalize the platting process. March 6,2007 /s/John P

Res No. 07-11 approving the final plat for The Estates at Lake Oconee Sixth
Subdivision. The final plat has been approved by the County
Surveyor and Hwy Superintendent.
Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to purchase the time
keeping guard one plus system for the detention facility in the amt of $7583.70
to be paid from the commissary funds, which will not affect the county budget.
Motion carried.The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 07-10 BE
IT RESOLVED BY THE CHAIRPERSON AND PLATTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
COLUMBUS,NEBRASKA WHEREAS, Platte County, Nebraska wishes to enter into an
agreement with the State of Nebraska Department of Roads to construct a
concrete pedestrian and bicycle trail on 18th Avenue from Lake
Babcock (Bob White Trail) to Wilderness Park Trail located near the Lost Creek
Flood Control Project, with funds made available through STP Enhancement
Program Funds: and WHEREAS, the Federal share payable shall be a maximum of eighty
(80) percent of the eligible costs thereof, up to a maximum payment from
federal funds of $499,919.00; and WHEREAS, Platte County, Lower Loup
Natural Resources District and Columbus Area Recreational Trails shall be
responsible for approximately $124,979.00, which is estimated to be the twenty
(20) percent matching share of eligible project costs; and WHEREAS, the County
of Platte has agreed to place $39,631.00 in its fiscal year budget the
county’s share of this project. NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLATTE
COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS that the County enter into an agreement with
the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for the construction of a concrete
pedestrian and bicycle trail on 18th Avenue from Lake Babcock (Bob
White Trail) to Wilderness Park Trail located near the Lost Creek Flood control
Project, that this project be constructed under the designation of Project
Number ENH-71(30), State Control No. 31909, and that the terms
and conditions as contained in the Agreement with the Nebraska Department of
Roads are hereby approved and that the Chairman is hereby authorized to

Res No. 07-12 on the final plat for Willow Wind 2nd Subdivision. The
final plat has been approved by the County
Surveyor and the Hwy Supt.The
following individuals presented their concerns before the Co Bd: John and Susan
Nelson, Harold Ditter, Arnold Boyd and Les Nienaber voiced several concerns
with pictures on the final plat of Willow Wind 2nd Subdivision. They
are concerned about the diversion of the water. They also stated there were no
meetings held with Gerhold and it has flooded five times since 1993.Moved and
seconded to table the decision of Res No. 07-12 for one month until we have
more information from Mr. Gerhold.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve
the minutes of 2-20-07.Motion carried.

Committee Reports:Supervisor Tooley reported the
county rec’d a rebate check from Express Script on prescription drugs.
Supervisor Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting at the Juvenile Detention
facility in Madison and he attended
his first Chamber of Commerce meeting. Supervisor Woerth reported we need to
start looking at a new phone system for the courthouse. Moved and seconded that
the following claims be approved as presented except for claim no. 07033940 in
the amt of $25.00 and the county clerk be ordered to issue warrants of the same
