session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John P Woerth,Chairman,Diane
C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors
Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The
Chairman informed the general public on the posting of the open meeting laws.The
Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph
Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded to approve
the agenda as presented.Motion carried. Moved and seconded to approve the
minutes of 4-17-07.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax corrections
#13349 thru #13351 on personal property and real estate as recommended by the
Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following mtr
vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Federated Church Troop 212
BSA, Sisters of St Francis, Columbus Housing

Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Tim
Hofbauer and Jon Zavadil presented a lease agreement for tower rental to the Co
Bd.Moved and seconded to approve and authorize the Co Sher and Emergency
Manager to sign the lease agreement on tower rental for the county’s high band
system (Emergency Manager $810.00 a year, Co Sher $720.00 a year) for a total
cost of $1530.00 to be paid one time from the communication budget. Motion
carried.The Co Bd discussed the architectural services of RVW on the
replacement of the east steps of the Platte Co Courthouse.The Co Bd discussed
the quotes for cleaning the Courthouse windows. Moved to accept the quote from Roy’s
Window Service, Lincoln, NE
for the inside and outside cleaning of the courthouse windows in the amt of
$3140.00 to be paid from the Bldg Grds.Motion died due to lack of a second.
Moved and seconded to refer the copy machine bids to the Bldg Grds Comm, Tim
Hofbauer and the Co Clk to review and to report back at the next meeting.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 5-1-07.Motion carried. Employee
handbook updates were discussed by the Co Bd and Co Atty.Moved and seconded to

Telephone communication System bids for the Courthouse were opened and
read.Moved and seconded to refer the phone bids to the Bldg Grds Comm, Tim
Hofbauer and the Co Clk to review and to report back at the next meeting.Motion
carried. Annual supply bids for the Hwy Dept were opened and read.Moved and
seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy Supt to review and to report back with

Service for culverts for the Hwy Dept. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to
