Jodi Prochaska and James Scow of Scow,Rief,Kruse &Schumacher PC presented the final audit to the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to accept the audit and the agreed upon procedures for the year ended 6-30-07.Motion carried.The Public Defender discussed the disallowed claim with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the change order for Platte Center Southwest. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the utility appl for Frontier. Motion carried. KC Belitz, President of Col Area Chamber of Commerce discussed economic development with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded that Platte County contribute $10000.00 to the Col Area Chamber of Commerce for economic development to be paid from the Inh Tax Fund.Motion carried.A hearing date was set by the Co Bd for an access road to an isolated tract of land. Moved and seconded that a hearing be set for 12-18-07 at 10:00a.m. regarding the request for an access road. Motion carried. Ken Berney from Lower Elkhorn NRD discussed the Leigh Dam Interlocal Agreement with the Co Bd.The Chairman referred the Leigh Dam Interlocal Agreement to the Road-Bridge Comm and the Hwy Supt to review and report back at a later date. Discuss and/or approve the cleaning contract for the Courthouse with ServiceMaser by Shevlin was held by the Co Bd.The Chairman referred this back to the Bldg Grds Comm for more information.
