Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff

resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 07-31 WHEREAS,the County Board of
Platte County,Nebraska is authorized and empowered by Chapter 23,Article
3(x),R.R.S. 1943,to grant permits for the construction, installation, operation
and maintenance of the community antenna television (CATV) service within their
county limits and outside the limits of any incorporated city or village on a
non-exclusive basis; WHEREAS, Time Warner Entertainment/ Advance Newhouse
Partnership,dba Time Warner Cable has made application for such a permit
pursuant to the terms of §23-383 et seq. NE Statutes, as amended; NOW,THEREFORE,BE
IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Platte County, Nebraska,that
the application of Time Warner Entertainment/Advance Newhouse Partnership,dba
Time Warner Cable, be approved and that said Time Warner Entertainment/Advance
Newhouse Partnership,dba Time Warner Cable, be granted a non-exclusive permit
to construct,install,operation,and maintain a CATV system within the limits of
Platte county but outside the limits of any incorporated city or village within
Platte County subject to the applicable rules and regulations of the Federal
Communications Commission and the provisions of. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
Time Warner Entertainment/Advance Newhouse Partnership,dba Time Warner Cable
shall furnish CATV service to any person, subject to reasonable rules and
regulations, applying therefore along the lines of its wires,cables,or other
conduits,(within 300 feet of existing services),at reasonable and compensatory
rates, including installation charges. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that Time Warner
Entertainment/ Advance Newhouse Partnership,dba Time Warner Cable, shall
furnish to and file with the County Clerk
of Platte a proper map showing the exact location of all
underground cables and equipment constructed. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED,that the
aforesaid grant of a non-exclusive permit to Time Warner Entertainment/Advanced
Newhouse Partnership,dba Time Warner Cable shall include the right to occupy
the rights of way,streets,alleys and all other utility easements deeded to the
County, for the purpose of installing, operating and maintaining a cable
