Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors meet in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable John P Woerth,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Lloyd,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Woerth.The Chairman informed the pubic of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public were presented.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.A public hearing was held at 9:00a.m. for the purposes of considering the issuance of an Off Sale Beer License to CLAM, Inc dba “Dickie Doodles”, 2820 East 23rd Street,Columbus,NE  68601.Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at 9:03a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded that the Platte Co Bd of Supervisors recommend to the Nebr Liquor Control Comm that the Off Sale Beer License for CLAM, Inc dba “Dickie Doodles” be granted.Motion carried. Brenda Shald Hudelson, Expense Reduction Services presented a proposal to identify the cost of processing statements, with alternatives identified that would be less expensive. Moved and seconded to allow Brenda Shald Hudelson from Expense Reduction Services to approach the Co Treas to look at accost savings for processing statements. Motion carried. Irwin Mueller requested funding and maintenance of the Granville Pioneer Cemetery from the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to refer this issue to the Co Atty for further review and report back at a later date.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sheriff to purchase three (3) touch screen monitors for master control in the amt of $902.73 each plus shipping to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the Co Sheriff’s request to purchase six (6) batteries in the amt of $382.93 plus shipping to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to sign the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the Platte County Sheriff’s Office and Special Narcotics Abuse Reduction Effort. Motion carried.Tim Hofbauer,Emergency Manager requested permission to replace computers in the Treas Office and Clerks Office.Moved and seconded to approve the purchase of six (6) computers, three for the Treasurer and three for the Clerks Office in the amt of $8094.00 to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.The Co Atty requested the reconsideration of the Boards decision on 10-2-07 disallowing 3% increases for the Co Attys Office and other offices impacted by such decision. Moved to allow the Co Atty and Public Defenders Office approve the 3% increase starting 1-1-08.Motion withdrawn. Moved and seconded to refer this issue back to the Co Atty and the Finance Comm and to report back in December.
