Al Eveland, Ameritas Investment Corp discussed jail bond refinancing with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded that the Co Bd approve Res No. 08-09 which would be the call of the old bonds. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to adopt Res No. 08-10 for the issuance of the General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2008 in the amt of $3685000.00.Motion carried.Committee Reports: Supervisor Woerth brought the security system back to the safety committee; there was no discussion on having the cameras only in the courthouse. Supervisor Friedrichsen was unable to attend the Juvenile Detention meeting in Madison, the Co Sher informed him of what was discussed. Supervisor Tooley attended the Chamber meeting. He also discussed the County Healthcare/Medicare for employees and their spouses 64 and older. Supervisor Pfeifer reported the Road-Bridge Comm met and discussed the possible purchase of a motor grader. Supervisor Martens rec’d a call from a concerned citizen regarding the construction of the Katana Road.Moved and seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the Co Clk issue warrants of the same on the respective funds.Motion carried.
