The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.

Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:10a.m.Honorable Robert Lloyd, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen, Woerth, Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd. The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ from the Col Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.The Co Sher requested permission to purchase two computers and two tabled for the Jail and discussed a video link between here and the Juvenile Center in Madison with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to authorize the Co Sher to purchase two computers for the Jail in the amt of $2156.00 to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the purchase of four tables from Menards for $120.00 to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.The judges approached Sher Zavadil on a video link between here and the Juvenile Center in Madison. Sher Zavadil will get more info for the Co Bd.The Jenny road appl ( land lock property ) was discussed by the Co Bd.The following individuals were present: Atty Raymond Baker, Max Jenny, Mark Jenny, Larry Stec, Bryce Kummer, Hwy Supt and the Co Atty. After a lengthy question and answer session it was decided to table the issue to the next meeting. Moved and seconded to table this issue to 3-4-08 at 9:30a.m.Motion carried.Tim Hofbauer discussed the Countywide Communication Tower with the Co Bd and is also requesting permission to purchase a network switch. Moved and seconded to approve the purchase of the antenna in the amt of $821.15 to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the purchase of a network switch in the amt of $388.04 to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried. Discussion and possible refinancing of the Jail Bond as presented by Supervisor Franzen.The Co Bd discussed a recording system for the Bd meetings. Steel Bids for the Hwy Dept were opened and read at 9:30a.m.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy Supt to review and report back with his findings.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the steel bid from Husker Steel for 2008-2009.Motion carried.The Hwy Supt discussed a request for a historical marker on Lincoln Hwy – Gardiner Station with the Co Bd. Moved and seconded to approve the historical marker on Lincoln Highway – Gardiner Station on the county right-of-way. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the Interlocal Agreement between Colfax County and Platte County for federal aid project on Shell Creek Bridge.
