session beginning at 9:00 in the

Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,
Friedrichsen,Woerth,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd. The Chairman
informed the pubic of the posting of the open laws.The Aff Publ from the Col
Tele and Humph Demo for notice of public meeting were presented.Moved and
seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Moved and seconded
to approve the minutes of
12-18-07.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the
tax corrections #13375 thru #13383 on personal property and real estate as
recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.The Co Assessor informed the Co
Bd the permissive exemptions are on file in their office.Moved and seconded
that a hearing be set for 3-18-08 at 9:15a.m. on the
permissive exemption for the Intern’l Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following mtr vehicle exemptions as
recommended by the Co Treas: Word of Life Church, Scotus

Shell Valley Companies discussed his Comm Block Grant with the Co Bd.Moved and
seconded to allow the six month extension for Shell
Valley in the amt of $5952.38 to 8-1-08 subject to approval from the
Nebr Dept of Economic Development. Motion carried.Tim Hofbauer discussed an
Interlocal Agreement for a Regional Homeland Governance Board, to appoint a
county representative to the Regional Governance Board and asked to replace two
computer monitors. Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the
Interlocal Agreement for a Regional Homeland Governance Board. Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to appoint Tm Hofbauer to represent Platte
County on the Regional Homeland
Governance Board. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the monitor
replacements for Victims Assistance and the Deputy Public Defender in the amt
of $418.00 to be paid from the capital acct.Motion carried.Moved and seconded

Motion carried.Moved and seconded to file the Gen Assist Adm report for
December 2007.Motion carried. Moved and seconded to file the Veterans Service
Officers quarterly report ending 12-31-07.Motion carried.The Hwy Supt discussed
the 25 Year Hwy Lease Renewal near Duncan,
Platte County,Nebraska with the Co Bd.This was
referred back to the Hwy Supt for more info. The One & Six Year Road
hearing was held at 10:00a.m.Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at
11:19a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to hard surface the hill from the
Shell Creek Bridge approximately 1/2 mile north on 48th Avenue and
the money be put in next years budget. Motion withdrawn.
Moved and seconded to withdraw Project No. C-71(707) from the one year program
and add it to the six year program. Motion failed.Moved and seconded to accept
the One & Six Year Program as presented.Motion carried.
Moved and seconded to revise the One & Six Year Road
Program to add from the Shell Creek bridge the approximate 1/2 mile north on 48th
Avenue to the One & Six Year Program. Motion
carried.The Burrows Township Bd request to vacate a road between Section 7 and
18 was discussed by the Co Bd and the Hwy Supt.Moved and seconded to file the
Hwy Supt annual report for 2007.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize
the Hwy Supt to advertise for steel bids to be opened on 2-19-08 at
9:30a.m.Motion carried.Committee Reports: Supervisor Woerth reported the Bldg
Grds Comm met at Co Crt and discussed their equipment request, they also
discussed the replacement on the east steps. Supervisor Friedrichsen will be
attending a meeting Friday at the Juvenile Detention facility in Madison.
Supervisor Martens attended the extension meeting where they also elected new offices.Moved
and seconded that the following claims be approved as presented and the Co Clk
