informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ from

and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Moved and
seconded to approve the minutes of 2-19-08.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to
approve the tax corrections #13388 and#13389 on personal property as
recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the
following motor vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Federated
Church Troop 212 BSA, St Francis Church, Youth for Christ Columbus,Inc,
Columbus Family YMCA Lighthouse Baptist Church, Columbus Rescue Mission, Boy Scouts
of America Troop 276.Motion carried. Dennis Parker for In the Beginning Family
Christian Theme Park Inc answered questions for the Co Bd regarding the mtr
vehicle exemption. A hearing was held at 9:15
a.m. to consider the Permissive Exemption Form 451 for the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Lot 7,Blk 60,Original City of
Columbus,Columbus.Nebraska.Moved and seconded to conclude the hearing at
9:27a.m.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the permissive exemption
for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Motion carried.The

before the Co Bd.The following resolution was presented: RESOLUTION NO. 08-06
WHEREAS, the Platte County Board of Supervisors has been presented an affidavit
satisfying the requirements presented in Neb.Rev.Stat. §39-1713 - §39-1719 and
such notice and hearing as required has been duly provided and held and under
the authority of the same. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Max Jenny and Wilma
Jenny’s Application for Access Road to an Isolated Tract of Land Pursuant to
Neb.Rev.Stat. §39-1716,dated and filed with the County Board of Platte
County,Nebraska on November 13,2007,be and hereby is granted, and there is
hereby established a public access road to the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of
Section 26,Township 17 North,Range 3West of the 6th P.M.,Platte
County,Nebraska, two (2) rods in width commending at the Northwest corner of
the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section 24,Township 17 North,Range 3 West of
the 6th P.M., Platte County,Nebraska, thence southerly centered
along and upon the West Section Line of Sections 24 and 25, to a point in the West
Section Line of Section 25 which is located fifty (50) feet south of the
Northwest Corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 25, said road
extending in width sixteen and one-half (16 1/2) feet west of said Section Line
of Sections 24 and 25.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified Appraiser,
appointed by the County, shall determine the fair market value of the land
covered by said access road and report the same to the County Board of Supervisors,
of Platte County so that damages may be assessed as provided by
Neb.Rev.Stat.§39-1716 to §39-1718. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to
Neb.Rev.Stat.§39-1716, the damages determined by the Appraiser from the access
road above described, are to be assessed against and paid by the Applicants,

by the County Treasurer to the above-named individuals in the amounts
determined by the Appraiser. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Applicants, Max
Jenny and Wilma Jenny, shall install or cause to be installed at their own
expense, a proper legal boundary fence, utilizing fencing materials now located
on access road above described, along with such additional fencing materials as
may be required, with access gates to each of the adjoining properties to that the
boundaries of such access road are property fenced. In addition, the Applicants
shall make any future improvements and perform any future maintenance in regard
to such access road without any cost to Platte County,
Nebraska. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this
resolution shall take effect and be in full force from and after its

authorize the Co Sheriff to transfer the 2000 Ford Explorer to Emergency
Management and to sell the following vehicles on the city auction: 1990 Ford
Crown Victoria, 1997 Ford Crown Victoria and the 1991 Chevrolet Suburban.

educator to use the 2nd floor office, which will be reviewed in one
year. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Hwy Supt to advertise

seconded to approve the Hwy Dept to go for RFP’s for engineering on the Katana

change order on Project No. BHO-7071(8) Platte Center Southwest.

the Neb Dept of Roads. The Co Surveyor has made an estimate as to
the cost per corner for tying and per corner to re-set. Motion carried. Jeff
Christensen,NENEDD discussed the RLF Service Agreement
Amendment with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign
the Amendment to RLF Service Agreement with the NENEDD.Motion carried. Al
Eveland, Ameritas Investment Corp discussed Jail Bond refinancing with the Co
Bd. Discuss east and south exterior
entry renovations was has by the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to approve the
renovation plans as presented and to go for bids to be opened on 4-8-08 at
10:00a.m. in the Bd of Supervisors Room with the Bldg
