Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Equal met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable Robert Lloyd,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Woerth,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd. The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ were presented with the meeting notice published in the Humph Demo on 5-15-08 and the Col Tele on 5-13-08.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 4-15-08.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax corrections #13393 thru #13398 for personal property and real estate as recommended by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the permissive exemptions for Central Nebr Comm Service Inc and Scotus Central Catholic. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following motor vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Rainbow Center Inc, Col Housing Authority, Sister of St Francis, Col Rescue Mission. Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Supervisors met in session beginning at 9:10a.m. Honorable Robert Lloyd, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk. Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen, Woerth, Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd. The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ were presented with the meeting notice published in the Humph Demo on 5-15-08 and the Col Tele on 5-13-08.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.The Co Sheriff informed the Co Bd that Platte County was awarded a grant through the crime commission. Moved and seconded to approve the cost of the equipment for the Sheriff’s Dept in the amt of $26997.00 to be paid from the capital acct. to be reimbursed by grant money. Motion carried.The Co Sheriff requested permission to purchase a camera monitor for the lobby. Moved and seconded to remove this item from the agenda and to be put on at a later date.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the continuation of the Co Atty’s budget for fiscal year 2007-2008.Motion carried. Andrea Belgau,Platte Co Atty made an announcement that she has accepted a position with the U.S. Attorneys Office in Omaha. The annual supply bids for the Hwy Dept were opened and read at 9:30a.m.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy Supt to review and to report back with his findings.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the culvert bid from Contech for the next fiscal year. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the gravel bid from Central Sand& Gravel. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to continue the use of office space for the after school program up to 5 years as requested by Lisa Kaslan of the Ext. Office.Motion carried. Discussion and possible action on off-label drug usage for the Platte Co Hlth Plan. Motion carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Woerth reported the recording system has been completely installed. Supervisor Friedrichsen reported the Reg IV meeting and the Juvenile Detention meeting were on the same day and he and the Co Sheriff attended the Juvenile Detention meeting in Madison. Supervisor Tooley attended the Chamber of Commerce meeting and on 6-3-08 there will  be a report from BAS. Supervisor Franzen attended the NIRMA meting and they are getting ready for the insurance renewal. Supervisor Martens attended a meeting on the 8th with BD on drainage issues, he attended the extension board meeting on the 13th and attended the personnel meeting on the 19th.
