Pursuant to adjournment the Platte Co Bd Equalization met in session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable Robert Lloyd,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd. Supervisor Woerth Was excused from today’s meeting. The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The meeting notices were published in the Col Tele on 11-11-08 and the Humphrey Demo on 11-13-08.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented. Moved and seconded to file the final audit for fiscal year ending June 30, 2008 as presented by Scow,Rief,Kruse & Schumacher. Motion carried. Rebecca Rayman, Director of the East-Central Dist Hlth Dept presented their quarterly report to the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to approve the pay increases for the deputies as presented by the Co Sher to be effective 1-1-2009.Motion carried. Jeff Christensen, NENEDD discussed obligation of Revolving Loan funds to future projects and discussion and possible action on a letter from Shell Valley requesting deferred loan payment. Moved and seconded to approve the requested payment extension for Shell Valley Company to j7-1-2009.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve up to $100,000.00 of the revolving loan funds for Mastercare Patient Service Care Project.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the bid from Platte Valley Precast in the amt of $945.00 on sealing the joints in the new sidewalk to be paid from the Bldg Grds budget. Motion carried. Discussion and possible action on amending Res No. 05-35 (salary resolution) to include a Medicare option to the Platte County Health Plan. Moved and seconded to table the amendment of Res No.05-35 to 12-2-2008.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to renew the contract with Autumn Blaze Landscaping for snow removal at the courthouse with the new hourly rate of $85.00 for the 2008-2009 winter season. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to remove from the table the drainage improvements at Country Links. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to accept the quote from Gehring Constr and Ready Mix in the amt of $14188.20 to replace panels and grind gutters at Country Links to held drainage problems to be paid from the misc budget. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to extend the cleaning contract with ServiceMaster By Shevlin.Motion carried. Discussion and possible action to replace the carpet in the lobby and the elevator. Moved and seconded to advertise for the position of Platte County Hwy Supt with applications due no later than 5:00 p.m. on 12-31-2008.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to transfer $125,000.00 from the Inh Tax Fund to the Jail Bond Fund by 12-1-08.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 11-4-08.Motion carried. Committee Reports: Supervisor Friedrichsen will be attending a meeting Friday (21) at the Juvenile facility in Madison and a Reg IV meeting on 12-5-08.Supervisor Martens will attend the extension board meeting tonight (18) and he also talked about the expansion of the ECDHD.Supervisor Franzen reported that we should be receiving a renewal resolution from NIRMA for recommitment for a three year period from August 1,2009 to June 30,2012.Supervisor Tooley reported that he was asked by the Ext Office staff to serve on a steering committee for a visioning process to be completed in Columbus. The effort is a part of the Hometown Competitiveness effort through the Chamber. Allan and Lisa are leading the process through their HTC involvement.
