session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable Robert J
Lloyd,Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members
present: Supervisors Martens, Friedrichsen,Micek,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and
Chairman Lloyd.The Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open
meeting laws.The Aff Publ were presented with the notices being published in
the Col Tele on 2-10-09 and the Humph Demo on 2-11-09.Moved and seconded to
approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve
the minutes of 1-20-09.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax
corrections #13421 thru #13427 on personal property or real estate as recommended
by the Co Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following
mtr vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Col Rescue Mission,
Trinity Lutheran Church, Federated Church Troop 212 BSA, St Anthony Church,
Holy Family Church and St Bonaventure Church.Motion carried.The Chairman

Honorable Robert J Lloyd, Chairman,Diane C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the
following members present: Supervisors Martens,Friedrichsen, Micek,
Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd.The Chairman informed the public of
the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff Publ were presented with the
meeting notices published in the Col Tele on 2-10-09 and the Humph Demo on
2-11-09.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.Motion carried. Jeff
Raul, TransCanada presented an update on the Keystone Pipeline to the Co
Bd.Discussion and possible action to allow Off Label Drug Use in the Platte
County Hlth Plan. Moved and seconded to table this issue to 3-3-09.Motion
carried.Tim Matas,Dep Public Defender discussed the disallowed claim with the
Co Bd. KC Belitz, Col Area Chamber of Commerce discussed economic development
and drive for five support for 2009 with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded that
Platte County contribute $10000.00 to economic development for 2009 to be paid
from the Inh Tax Fund.Motion carried.Moved and seconded that Platte County
contribute $5000.00 to the Drive for Five Workplace Development Initiative to
be paid from the Inh Tax Fund.Motion carried. Rick Bogus,Gilmore& Assoc discussed
the 12th Street
Paving Project bids with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to accept the bid from
Elkhorn Paving Construction Co in the amt of $205559.58 for the Katana
Road. Motion carried. Diane Olmer,Elect Comm
reported on the Monroe Special Election by mail to the Co Bd.The Co Assessor
explained the Ag Land Values to the Co Bd.Discussion and possible action on the
steel bids for the Hwy Dept.Moved and seconded to refer the bids to the Hwy
Supt to review and to report back as soon as possible. Motion carried.Moved and
seconded to accept the steel bid from Husker Steel for 2009.Motion
carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the Agreement
Extension on Project No. ENH-71(30) Monastery CART Trail. Motion carried.Moved
and seconded to authorize the Chairman
to sign the utility appl for Cornhusker PPD.Motion carried.Moved and
seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the Eng Agreement on Project No.

building a new event center. Supervisor Martens was unable to attend the
