session beginning at 9:00 in the morning.Honorable Robert Lloyd,Chairman,Diane
C Pinger,Co Clk.Roll call and the following members present: Supervisors
Martens, Friedrichsen,Micek,Pfeifer,Franzen,Tooley and Chairman Lloyd.The
Chairman informed the public of the posting of the open meeting laws.The Aff
Publ were presented with notices published in the Col Tele on 3-10-2009 and the
Humph Demo on 3-11-2009.Moved and seconded to approve the agenda as
presented.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the minutes of
2-17-2009.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve tax corrections #13428
thru #13432 on personal property and/or real estate as recommended by the Co
Assessor.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve the following motor
vehicle exemptions as recommended by the Co Treas: Youth for Christ Columbus
Inc., St Francis Church, Federated Church Troop 212BSA, Col Rescue Mission,
Lighthouse Baptist Church and Rainbow Center Inc.Motion carried.The Chairman

for Survivors for the display of shoes on4-8-2009 with an alternate date of
4-22-2009. Motion carried. Irvin Mueller discussed his request for funding for
the maintenance of Granville Cemetery
with the Co Bd.Moved and seconded to refer Mr Mueller’s request to the Co Atty
and to report back to the Co Bd.Motion carried. After discussion, action was
taken on the request from Wilma Arp,Comprehensive Juvenile Serv Adm to make
appl for a Title V Grant in support of the bilingual officers position. Moved
and seconded to approve the request by Wilma Arp to apply for a Title V Grant
in support of the bilingual officers position. Motion carried.Moved and
seconded to approve the salary increase for Morgan Smith from $40000.00 to
$41200.00 to be effective 4-1-2009 as requested by the Co Atty.Motion carried.Moved
and seconded to approve the benefit package for the Victims Assist Adm in the
amt of $4032.00 for fiscal year 2009-2010.Motion carried.The Co Bd discussed
transferring funds from the General Misc Fund to the St Institutions Fund.
Moved and seconded to transfer $50000.00 from the General Misc Fund to the
State Institutions Fund.Motion carried.Moved and seconded to authorize the
additional cost of $1200.00 for the painting of the Dist Probation offices to
be paid from the Bldg Grds budget. Motion carried.Moved and seconded to approve

on the maintenance of Granville Cemetery. Committee Reports: Supervisor
Friedrichsen attended a meeting at the Juvenile Detention facility in Madison,
everything is looking good. Supervisor Martens reported that someone approached
him about a bike rack for the courthouse with an approximate cost of $400.00.He
also reported he rec’d several quotes for lawn care from Wilkes Landscape
Center and Cheryl’s Lawn and Landscape, we are having problems with some weeds.
Moved and seconded to go into executive session at 10:37a.m. to discuss personnel issues and security issues.
Moved and seconded to concluded the executive session at 11:05a.m.Motion
carried.The quarterly jail inspection was conducted by the Bldg Grds Comm.
