PROTEST FORM
422
If you have already contacted the
Assessor's Office and discussed your valuation and are still not satisfied
you may then file a Property Valuation Protest - Form 422 with the Platte
County Board of Equalization.
You will be
required to provide relevant evidence to support your protest. Examples of
relevant information include:
- a recent appraisal of the property
- sales of similar properties in a similar area, or
evidence of a recent sale of the subject property
- physical characteristics of the property
- income, vacancy and expense data relating to
commercial property
- cost of recent construction on the property that
affects the value of costs, needed update or change use
- any other evidence or data that reflects the
market value of your property

YOU MUST SUBMIT THE COMPLETED FORM 422 TO:

This form, when completed, must by
filed with the Platte County Board of Equalization at the address above
received or postmarked no later than JUNE 30.
Failure to
fully complete and submit the Form 422
may be grounds
for dismissal of the protest.
